CLADE™ MIRA Analyzer
for multi-attribute sample insights
Quantify proteins and chemical compounds in a sample, in 4 minutes

CLADE™ MIRA Analyzer is a benchtop analytical instrument, designed for biopharma analytical teams who need to analyse large batches of samples, across multiple quality attributes.
Thanks to the proprietary AquaSpec™ technology, you can measure samples in aqueous solutions reliably.
For applications in biologics development, CLADE™ MIRA Analyzer delivers fast, robust, and comprehensive insights into samples.

Analytical workflows in biopharma should be less fragmented
Analytical teams in biologics development typically rely on multiple methods to characterise the API and each individual component in a formulation.
The workflows are complex, fragmented and require significant time and operational resources.
This creates bottlenecks across R&D, formulation, and process development.

Simplify analytical workflows with a multi-attribute method
The CLADE™ MIRA Analyzer reduces the need for multiple analytical methods as it consolidates the process into one high‑throughput workflow.
3. High quality, reliable data - every time
How does CLADE™ MIRA Analyzer work
The CLADE™ MIRA Analyzer uses mid infrared FTIR spectroscopy to capture a detailed fingerprint of sample’s chemical composition. This fingerprint is processed in the data analytics tool CLADE™ Sphere to quantify multiple components present in a sample. This means you can obtain quantitative and qualitative data on multiple quality attributes from a single, rapid measurement.
The integrated autosampler can handle 160+ samples, while different automation features reduce instrument downtime and ensure consistent performance.

What does data look like?
The CLADE™ MIRA Analyzer acquires FTIR spectra of biologics samples in solution in the mid-infrared region (3050 to 930 cm-1). It produces a digital fingerprint of a given sample, which carries spectral information on the quantitative and qualitative attributes of proteins and chemical compounds in solution.

The plot shows standard FTIR absorption spectra of 7 samples in the mid-IR region. We measured a set of drug products in formulation that included a range of API concentrations (from 35 g/L to 100 g/L).
The obtained spectral data can be processed in the analytical toolbox Sphere in apps such as Workbench and with proprietary algorithms QA Scan and Data Driven.
